Neo-Guanabara
Trailer for the tabletop RPG "Neo-Guanabara", a cyberpunk tropicalia martial arts extravaganza.
Neo-Guanabara is a tabletop Role-playing game that reflects on Brazilian injustices such as violence, inequality, and precarious living conditions. It criticizes abuse of power, as well as talks about our experiences, perceptions, and challenges as Rio de Janeiro’s citizens.
As a Co-Creator of this project, I illustrated the plurality of Brazilian culture merged with sci-fi elements on characters and environments, bearing in mind the Brazilian brand of humor and energy. I produced graphic design and illustrations, collaborating with the game and story designer Arthur De Martino at Ludus Hero studio.
To raise the impact of the game release, we created an animated trailer that explained the main concepts and rules of the game. I produced artwork and animation for this trailer. → Neo-Guanabara was listed in the gaming and entertainment press Polygon as one of the Indie Games to try out.
The digital version of the game can be purchased through the websites:
→ itch.io
→ DriveThruRPG
